JULY IS BUY IN WARD 7 AND 8 MONTH. For the entire month of July, try to ONLY spend your hard earned dollars in Ward 7 and 8. As one resident suggested, if you can't find the brands that you need, don't be afraid to contact the store manager/owner and request what you need. Eastland Gardens, located in northeast Washington, D.C.'s Ward 7, is where water and land coexist with a true neighborhood community. Nestled amongst the Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens -- the nation's only national park displaying aquatic plant life -- the Eastland Gardens community is bounded by Eastern Avenue NE to the north, the Watts Branch Tributary to the south, the CSX Railroad tracks to the east and the Anacostia River to the west. The Eastland Gardens Civic Association was founded in 1935.
